Overview

Unwind in nature with yoga, calming experiences, refreshing drinks, gentle cow visits, and a peaceful retreat to recharge.

The Herd & Harmony Series invites you to slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience movement in one of the most peaceful settings the countryside has to offer.

Guests will begin the evening with a refreshing welcome drink before spending time beside our gentle Highland cows — enjoying a quiet moment to pet and interact with them from the fence line while everyone settles in. From there, we’ll take a short guided nature walk through the rolling hills to our yoga location, where a 45-minute grounding yoga session will take place surrounded by fresh air and open countryside.

After the session, we’ll make our way back together, with additional time to relax, take photos, and spend more time with the cows before heading home feeling restored, recharged, and a little more connected to nature.

  • Please bring a yoga mat, an outdoor blanket to place beneath your mat, farm appropriate footwear (e.g. running shoes), water, any yoga aids you’re comfortable using, a smile, and a camera to capture the experience.

  • Yes! While the event is centered around relaxation and yoga in nature, there will be time before and after the session to meet and pet our Highland cows from the fence line.

  • Yes. All guests are required to sign two waivers prior to the event — one for Highland Hideaways as the event facilitator, and one for Hailey, the yoga instructor.

  • Guests will be welcomed with a refreshing peach rosemary iced tea or cucumber mint water upon arrival — the perfect way to settle into the experience before the evening begins.

  • The yoga session is designed to be as gentle or as challenging as you’d like it to be. The focus is on mindful movement, light stretching, and taking in the peaceful natural surroundings — allowing the experience to become whatever you need it to be.

  • Not at all. This experience is beginner-friendly and focused on mindful movement, relaxation, and connecting with nature.

  • In the event of unsafe weather conditions (heat or rain), guests will be contacted with updates regarding rescheduling or event adjustments.

  • Comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking through grass and uneven outdoor terrain are recommended.

  • The full experience lasts approximately two hours, including welcome refreshments, time with the cows, the nature walk, and yoga session.

  • Yes, complimentary parking is available on-site for all guests.
